Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mitchell). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs 75-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tigers have posted since February 1, 2024.

Gordon-Rushville's loss came despite strong showings from Braylon Holston and Maddox Leeper. Holston dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Leeper posted four points. That was a full 38.7% of Gordon-Rushville's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Mitchell is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Gordon-Rushville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
