On Friday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Global Concepts had to settle for a 57-54 loss against City Honors. Global Concepts has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Global Concepts still got an impressive performance from Darius Brown II, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Brown II is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Torres, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
Global Concepts' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for City Honors, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Global Concepts will take on Holland at TBD on Thursday. As for City Honors, they will be playing at home against Lewiston-Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
