Jacoby Harms made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

Union Mine might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to Colfax, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Diamondbacks in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.
Union Mine also got a good showing from Mack Brown, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Union Mine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Lucas Leach, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Reed's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Union Mine, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Union Mine's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Reed has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .481.
