Grandfield will challenge Mountain View-Gotebo on the road at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Grandfield come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Grandfield, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-54 to Tipton.
Meanwhile, Mountain View-Gotebo took an ego-bruising loss against Tipton two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Mountain View-Gotebo had just enough and edged out Maysville 16-14. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Mountain View-Gotebo's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Grandfield's defeat dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Mountain View-Gotebo can add another positive mark to their record or if Grandfield can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mountain View-Gotebo's step.
