After a string of three wins, the North Hills Christian Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against United Faith Christian Academy, falling 81-5. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Hills Christian has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, North Hills Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as United Faith Christian Academy racked up 19 assists.
Jada Richardson was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 15 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 steals for United Faith Christian Academy. Richardson also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Jade Bell was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals.
North Hills Christian now has a losing record at 6-7. As for United Faith Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.
North Hills Christian will take on Victory Christian Center at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Christian Center presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Hills Christian in North Carolina (Victory Christian Center is ranked 89th, while North Hills Christian is ranked 438th). As for United Faith Christian Academy, United Faith Christian Academy and Veritas Christian Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
