Lake Region is 1-6 against the Highlanders since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lake Region Thunder will take on the Lake Wales Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Lake Region fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Highlanders on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lake Wales, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-46 loss to the Knights on Saturday. Lake Wales has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Samauri Wilson, who scored ten points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Devin Ossinac was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and two steals.
