Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Dubuque). Everything went their way against the Dubuque Senior Rams on Friday as the Western Dubuque Bobcats made off with a 57-32 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Western Dubuque's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-14. As for Dubuque Senior, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Western Dubuque will welcome Wahlert at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Dubuque Senior has already played their next contest, a 59-58 win against North Scott on the 1st.
