While losing is never fun, Jarrell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Alamo Heights is ranked 106th).
Among those leading the charge was Gunnar Jones, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Another player making a difference was Mike Terry, who scored 7 points.
Jarrell's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alamo Heights, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Whitney the next time they take the court. Alamo Heights will head out to face Whitney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Jarrell will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
