The Windsor Wizards can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They breezed by Greeley Central on the road to the tune of 79-41. Given Windsor's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Greeley Central is ranked 165th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Windsor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Johnnie Reed led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Reed hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tadese Keyworth, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Windsor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Greeley Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will take on Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Silver Creek sitting on five straight victories and Windsor on three. As for Greeley Central, they will be playing at home against Greeley West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Greeley West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
