In what's become a running theme this season, the Augustine Prep Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 88-63 margin over Tenor. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tenor's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Quintyn Robinson, who scored 32 points along with three steals, and Kyrell Davis who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robinson has scored all season.
Augustine Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Tenor, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Augustine Prep will play host again and welcome Veritas/Tenor, where tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tenor, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastbrook Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
