The Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Kohelet Yeshiva on the road and fell 57-27. While losing is never fun, Foundation Collegiate Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 648th in New Jersey, while Kohelet Yeshiva is ranked 276th in Pennsylvania).
It was another big night for Asher Kahlon, who scored 26 points for Kohelet Yeshiva. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Wallace, who scored 12 points.
Foundation Collegiate Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
Foundation Collegiate Academy will head out on the road to take on Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Community Academy of Philadelphia is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against International Christian at 4:30 p.m. International Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
