The Solebury Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 32 points or more this season. They blew past Mastery 65-22 at home. That 65-22 margin sets a new team best for Solebury this season.
Tyler Simpson was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joell Idrovo, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Solebury now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mastery, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Solebury will be home for the holidays to greet Life Center Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Life Center Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 981 points over their last 12 contests. Mastery will finish 2023 at home by hosting Cherry Hill East at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
