Football Game Preview: Village View Christian Academy vs. Hope Christian Academy

Hope Christian Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Village View Christian Academy on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Hope Christian Academy strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 31.5 points per game.

The crowd came for a game two weeks ago, and Hope Christian Academy and Hillsborough Baptist sure delivered. It was a contest that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Hope Christian Academy snuck past Hillsborough Baptist for the 33-32 win. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Village View Christian Academy, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 24-54 punch to the gut against Countryside Christian last Friday.

Hope Christian Academy's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Village View Christian Academy's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if Hope Christian Academy's success rolls on or if Village View Christian Academy are able to steal their positive momentum.
