If Southwestern was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Maple Grove on Sunday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jamestown Red & Green on Tuesday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Southwestern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Charles, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Charles' first of the season.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Jamestown, they moved to 5-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Southwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jamestown, they will square off against Chautauqua Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Red & Green surely won't give up without a fight.
