Even though the West Davidson Dragons have not done well against the Lexington Yellowjackets recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. West Davidson walked away with  a   38-30  win over Lexington. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for West Davidson.
 West Davidson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Motlei Stovall led the charge by  almost  dropping  a double-double on 13 points and nine  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Stovall has scored all season.  Wyatt Cooper was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with six  rebounds and six  steals.
 West Davidson is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Lexington, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-14.
 West Davidson will look to defend their home court  on Friday against North Rowan at 6:00  p.m. One thing working in North Rowan's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last 11 matchups. As for Lexington, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Salisbury at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Salisbury will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
