West-Oak is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Walhalla is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will welcome the Razorbacks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West-Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
West-Oak is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Pendleton: they outscored them in every quarter. The Warriors strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 49-32. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 17 points.
Joey Burgess was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 16 points and three steals. What's more, she posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2025. Kinady Marcengill was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.
Meanwhile, Walhalla took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-19 win over Pendleton. The Razorbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.
West-Oak better focus on containing Baylee Cannon and Ashlyn Frick as the pair were huge in Walhalla's win. Cannon shot 80% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to five boards and five steals, while Frick went 8-for-13 on her way to 19 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kami Roach, who put up five points and nine assists.
Walhalla was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Walhalla's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for West-Oak, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: West-Oak has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 37.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Walhalla struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
West-Oak came up short against Walhalla in their previous matchup back in January, falling 52-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Roach, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 steals. Now that the Warriors know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
