Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gaffney). They took down the Wade Hampton Generals 65-48 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Gaffney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wade Hampton, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gaffney won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fort Mill at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Mill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.6 points per game this season. As for Wade Hampton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
