Lancaster is 8-2 against Knight since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Knight will be up against a hot Lancaster squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Lancaster blew past Eastside 8-1 last Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Sam Salas was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jordyn Zinn, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Elsy Herrera was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Lancaster kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 15 hits in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Knight came up short against Highland last Thursday, falling 9-3. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Knight and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Lancaster, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Lancaster skirted past Knight 6-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Lancaster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Knight turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
