Football Recap: Ida Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ida had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 48.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Madison Trojans 40-19. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bluestreaks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Trojans are ranked 245th).

Ida's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ida will face off against rival Dundee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Madison is set to square off against their familiar foe Blissfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
