On Tuesday, Crater made easy work of Thurston and carried off a 13-3 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Comets have posted against the Colts since May 10, 2024.
Ally Nottingham made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Crater got a massive performance out of Espn Ostroskie, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave Ostroskie a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Amanda Hammer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Crater always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thurston only posted an OBP of .348.
Thurston is on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18. As for Crater, their record is now 10-3.
Thurston's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Crater has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447.
