Meanwhile, Seton LaSalle had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Peters Township on Wednesday, falling 10-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
Seton LaSalle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla Chapman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
South Allegheny took their win against Seton LaSalle in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5.
