Griffith Teate was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 1 assists. Memphis Housman was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds and nine assists.
Skipstone Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-0. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Skipstone Academy will head out on the road to face off against Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. CrossPointe Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Covington Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
