Butte Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the Dunsmuir Tigers. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Layton Rasdal, who went 6-for-7 en route to 12 points. The dominant performance gave Rasdal a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Rodrigo Ramirez, who posted 11 points.
Michael Kellar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dunsmuir, putting up 39 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Christianson, who put up eight points.
Butte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Dunsmuir, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.
