Show Low hasn't had much luck against Snowflake recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Lobos at 2:30 p.m. Show Low will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Show Low's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Holbrook. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Addisyn Clark made a splash no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other pitching news, Lyndie Wallentine looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Show Low let Avery Ervien and Ari Rivera run wild. Ervien went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Rivera scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Rivera a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Angelee Villa, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
Show Low always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holbrook only posted an OBP of .133.
Meanwhile, Snowflake came up short against Valley Christian on Friday, falling 11-1.
Graycee Skousen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
Show Low pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Snowflake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Show Low's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Cougars have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Snowflake, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Show Low continue to outrun the ball?
Show Low took their victory against Snowflake when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 20-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
