Beech Grove scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 77-66 to the Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 75-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bishop Moore, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. The dominant performance gave Moore a new career-high in blocks. Tyris Reid was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 15 points and five steals.

It was another big night for Devin Bolden, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Smith, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten assists.

Beech Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
