Leading Cinco Ranch to victory were Camille Torrence and Aniya Foy. Torrence scored 17 points along with six rebounds, while Foy dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Foy has scored at least a third of Cinco Ranch's points. Another player making a difference was Maria Podskarbi, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Jordan has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Cinco Ranch, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-9.
Jordan will head out on the road to face off against Seven Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Seven Lakes' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 games. As for Cinco Ranch, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Paetow at 7:00 p.m. Paetow will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 572nd, while Cinco Ranch is ranked 177th).
