The East College Prep Spartans and the Central City Value Jaguars will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
On Tuesday, East College Prep was beaten by Triumph Charter 80-29. East College Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-12.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Central City Value had to settle for a 53-51 loss against Monroe on Tuesday.
Angel Marcial put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 28 points along with five steals. He scored a full 54.9% of Central City Value's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Leonel Chavez, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
East College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Central City Value, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
