Warrensburg hadn't done well against Lake George recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Monday. The Burgers put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp  19-4 victory. The Burgers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Kawliga Duell tossed a big game,   pitching five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Warrensburg got a  massive  performance out of  Caleb Remington, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  stolen bases. Remington also  scored three  runs, which is notable because the Burgers are undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-3 otherwise.  Paul Moore was another key player,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Warrensburg was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. They are  a perfect 7-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Warrensburg is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. As for Lake George, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 5-5.
