The Terry Rangers will be playing at home against the Friendswood Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Terry's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 28-7 walloping at the hands of Angleton. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Terry couldn't answer the 21 points Angleton scored afterwards.
Meanwhile, Friendswood took a serious blow against Fulshear on Friday, falling 61-29. Friendswood was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.
Loss or not, Friendswood got some senior leadership from Brock Foster who threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns and Adam Buffington who picked up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Foster is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Terry's defeat was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged eight points per game. As for Friendswood, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Terry might still be hurting after the 30-6 loss they got from Friendswood in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Terry have more luck at home instead of on the road?
