If the Kent County Trojans were riding high off their 46-6 takedown of the Crisfield Crabbers last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Kent County took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Easton on Monday. Kent County lost against Easton in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 60-36 score last time.
Kent County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zoe Angenieux, who scored 14 points, and Kate Cannon who scored 11 points.
Kent County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Easton, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kent County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cambridge-South Dorchester at 4:30 p.m. on December 12th. Easton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Severna Park at 6:45 p.m. on December 20th.
