Good Samaritan HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Colmesneil Bulldogs. The Hornets pushed the score to 41-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Good Samaritan HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dominic Fogo, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points and five steals. Fogo has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Shannon, who shot 56% from the field en route to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.
Good Samaritan HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Good Samaritan HomeSchool will head out to challenge Lighthouse HomeSchool at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Colmesneil, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Hull-Daisetta at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
