There's no place like home for the Armwood Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 59-54 W over Lennard on Wednesday. For Armwood, this counts as revenge for the 64-57 defeat Lennard walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Talon Mckinnie was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Armwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Dryden, who scored 8 points along with 7 blocks and 6 rebounds.
The win got Armwood back to even at 2-2. As for Lennard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Armwood and Strawberry Crest will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Strawberry Crest is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Lennard, they will head out on the road to face off against Manatee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
