While Fulton put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Austin-East. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Roadrunners. Considering the Falcons have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Fulton, bringing their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Austin-East, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fulton will face off against Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Austin-East, they will challenge Northview Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
