Basketball Recap: Challis Piles Up the Points Against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent

Challis not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22nd (when they won 61-30). They took their game with ease, bagging a 63-34 victory over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 58-44 victory on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Challis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Webster, who shot 53% from the field en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. What's more, Webster posted two assists, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Teage Erickson, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Challis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The win got Challis back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Challis will be home for the holidays to greet Salmon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-25 defeat against Mackay on the 13th.
