Reeltown extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 5 this week by beating LaFayette, 28-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Rebels.
Reeltown took down the Bulldogs 28-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tywone Stewart ran for 119 yards and caught two passes for 10 yards in the win.
Randolph County's dynamic duo of Ty Sparks and Dontae Barrett proved tough for Prattville Christian Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sparks threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns and Barrett had 110 yards receiving. Willis Knight helped Randolph County's passing attack out by catching six balls for 82 yards.
The Tigers' Sparks and Knight have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sparks has thrown for 1829 yards this season, while Knight, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 41 catches for 740 yards. Cory Battle from Horseshoe Bend leads the league in rushing with 1283 yards.
Lanett led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Generals.
