Parkview Baptist has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  face off against the Doyle Tigers at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Friday, while Parkview Baptist put up plenty of  runs, the same  can't be said for Livonia. Parkview Baptist was the clear victor by  a  15-0 margin over Livonia.
  Ava Nettles made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Nettles was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news, Parkview Baptist let  Avah Cavaness and  Madison Mackson loose on the outfield. Cavaness  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Mackson  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Lily Hammonds, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Doyle came tearing into  Monday's  game with 12 straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with  a  13-5 victory. That's two games straight that Doyle has won by  exactly eight  runs.
 Parkview Baptist pushed their record up to 10-5 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs per game. As for Doyle, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
 Parkview Baptist might still be hurting after the  9-1 loss they got from Doyle  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. Can Parkview Baptist avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
