Burlington/South Burlington took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Essex on Friday as they made off with a 21-0 win. Burlington/South Burlington was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Burlington/South Burlington are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Rice Memorial next week at 1:00 PM. Essex will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against St. Johnsbury Academy at 7:00 PM.
