William Harmon Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Sussex Central's William Harmon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harmon made ten total tackles and defended a pass. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending a pass.
Sussex Central pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Harmon and Sussex Central will venture away from home to take on St. Georges Tech on Saturday.

Kahmaj Kearney Turns in Season-Best Effort
Smyrna was led to victory by Kahmaj Kearney, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kearney rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Caesar Rodney's probably not too fond of Kearney given he always seems to get the better of them. When Kearney last faced the Riders back in October of 2023, he rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards.

Sussex Central Gets a Boost from Bell in 41-27 Victory
The second Sussex Central player making an appearance here is Malik Bell, and for good reason. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Bell has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 181.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Sam Pucci Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
Sam Pucci produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sussex Central to the win on Friday. Pucci wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The game was his fourth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
This season, Pucci has averaged 7.8 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.17 total tackles per game.

Phoenix Henriquez Delivers Electric Performance Vs Caesar Rodney
The second Smyrna player making an appearance here is Phoenix Henriquez, and for good reason. He picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 64 yards.
On the season, Henriquez has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 88.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
