The Tempe Buffaloes lost against the Mingus Marauders back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tempe lost to Mingus on the road by a decisive 56-42 margin. Tempe has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tempe's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamron Jackson, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Julio Medina Ochoa, who scored 9 points.
Tempe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mingus, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tempe will face off against Goldwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mingus, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Havasu at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
