Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cibola to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sierra Bomhower, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bomhower has scored at least 25% of Cibola's points. Isabela Molina was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 5 assists.
Gila Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Cibola, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gila Ridge will play host again and welcome Westview, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Westview is ranked 95th, while Gila Ridge is ranked 85th). As for Cibola, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mountain Ridge at 7:00 p.m.
