After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinewood, University Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Cindy Avitia Jaguars 77-34. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

University Prep Academy was led to victory by Anthony Hamoud and Jack Reboredo. Hamoud posted 16 points, while Reboredo put up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Austin Clement, who had nine points.

University Prep Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.2 points. As for Cindy Avitia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Prep Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Mar has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Cindy Avitia will take on Anzar in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
