The Broken Arrow lineman is an All-Oklahoma preseason selection presented by Suddenlink by Altice.
Broken Arrow and Bixby were the top two teams in Class 6A last year and they also dominate the Preseason Oklahoma All-State Football Team presented by Suddenlink by Altice.
MaxPreps is compiling a series of All-State teams over the final month of August in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season. The Oklahoma All-State team is the latest in the series.
First Team Offense

The dual-threat quarterback threw for 1,275 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior and rushed for 916 yards and 15 touchdowns. He's ranked as the No. 5 player in Oklahoma by 247 Sports and has committed to play at TCU.
QB — Mason Williams, Bixby | Jr. | 5-10 | 140
Had a huge sophomore season, throwing for 3,225 yards and 36 touchdowns (212 of 312). He earned honorable mention All-World by the Tulsa World.
RB — Sevion Morrison, Edison (Tulsa) | Sr. | 5-11 | 196
The state rushing leader as a junior with 2,639 yards and 34 touchdowns, Morrison was All-World first team and is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state by 247 Sports.
RB — Dominic Richardson, Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City) | Sr. | 6-0 | 205
Headed to TCU, he has 3,556 yards rushing in his varsity career, including 2,135 yards as a sophomore and 1,421 yards last year.
WR — Javian Hester, Washington (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-3 | 181
Ranked as the No. 3 player in the state by 247 Sports, he was honorable mention All-World. He caught 20 passes for 386 yards and four touchdowns as a junior.
WR — Blake Nowell, Plainview (Ardmore) | Sr. | 6-4 | 180 Will play at TCU next year after catching 45 passes for 832 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior.
TE — Jake Roberts, Norman North (Norman) | Sr. | 6-4 | 235
The top-ranked tight end in the state and the No. 19 player overall in Oklahoma by 247 Sports, Roberts will play at North Texas next year.
OL — Andrew Raym, Broken Arrow | Sr. | 6-5 | 285
Named to the Tulsa World all-state team two years running, Raym helped the Tigers win a state championship last year. He was a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American in 2017.
OL — Eli Russ, Plainview (Ardmore) | Sr. | 6-5 | 305
The No. 4 overall player in Oklahoma and the No. 19 offensive guard in the nation, Russ has committed to play at Oklahoma State.
OL — Ben Sparks, Norman | Sr. | 6-4 | 285
Will play at Southern Methodist next year and ranks as the No. 20 overall player in Oklahoma by 247 Sports. He was first team Big All-City by the Oklahoman.
OL — Austin Woods, Verdigris (Claremore) | Sr. | 6-6 | 265
An All-American baseball player last year, Woods was honorable mention All-World. He's headed to Arkansas State.
OL — Gabe Cantu, Union (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-4 | 295
The top center in the state, Cantu will play at Tulsa next season.
AP — Qwontrel Walker, Stillwater | Jr. | 5-8 | 180
All-State by the Tulsa World and the Oklahoman, Walker rushed for 1,739 yards and 26 touchdowns as a sophomore.
K — Reis Vernon, Bixby | Sr. | 6-2 | 190
A punter and kicker, Vernon averaged 36.5 yards per punt and had 49 touchbacks. As a placekicker, he was 72 of 74 on PATs and converted all three of his field goal attempts.

Posted 48 total tackles and 21 tackles for loss last year to go along with 11 sacks. He has offers from Memphis, Northern Iowa and Tulsa, according to the Oklahoman.
DL — Ethan Downs, Weatherford | Jr. | 6-4 | 240
Ranked as the No. 1 player in Oklahoma in the Class of 2021, the 4-star defensive end is a big-time playmaker no matter where he lines up.
DL — Melvin Swindle, Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City) | Jr. | 6-1 | 290
The No. 2 player in the Class of 2021 in Oklahoma according to 247 Sports, he had 29 tackles and two sacks as a sophomore on the varsity.
LB — Campbell Yeager, Broken Arrow | Sr. | 6-1 | 215
An All-World honorable mention selection as a junior, Yeager helped the Tigers to a state championship. He had 91 tackles and nine tackles for loss.
LB — Brynden Walker, Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City) | Sr. | 6-3 | 230
Flipped from Oklahoma State to Oklahoma, Walker is the son of former Tennessee Oilers Denard Walker. He is ranked as the No. 8 recruit in the state by 247 Sports.

The No. 10 player in the state by 247 Sports, Brown has committed to play at Kansas. He was a big playmaker on defense last year, posting 119 tackles and 30 tackles for loss to go with 14 sacks.
LB — Jacobi Johnson, Midwest City | Sr. | 6-4 | 225
North Texas has already received a commitment from Johnson, who is ranked as the No. 13 player in the state by 247 Sports.
DB — Myles Slusher, Broken Arrow | Sr. | 6-0 | 180
An all-state player by American Family Insurance and an All-World selection last year, Slusher had 68 tackles and two interceptions last year. He is ranked as the No. 2 player in Oklahoma by 247 Sports.
DB — Duece Mayberry, Owasso | Sr. | 5-11 | 175
Mayberry will call Kansas home next year, but first he will try to lead Owasso back to the state semifinals and beyond. He finished with three interceptions last year.
DB — Chateau Reed, Lawton | Sr. | 6-3 | 180
A talented receiver, defender and returner, Reed had touchdowns in all three phases including a 98-yard interception return and 11 receiving touchdowns.
DB — Jordan Reagan, Bixby | Sr. | 6-2 | 178
Reagan has committed to play at Oklahoma State next year. He ranks as the No. 16 player in Oklahoma according to 247 Sports.
AP — Maurion Horn, Broken Arrow | So. | 5-11 | 175
Expect Horn to be a big weapon in the Tigers' arsenal this year after scoring a pair of touchdowns last year as a freshman on varsity. Listed as a cornerback, Horn is ranked as the No. 2 player in Oklahoma for the Class of 2022 by 247 Sports.
P — Chris Hilton, McAlester | Sr. | 6-5 | 210
A 1,000-yard passer on offense, Hilton is one of the state's top punters after averaging 43.2 yards per punt as a junior.

The leading returning passer in Oklahoma, Link threw for 3,477 yards (236 for 364) with 33 touchdowns. Earned honorable mention All-World.
QB — Gunnar Gundy, Stillwater | Sr. | 6-2 | 195
The son of Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, Gunnar has yet to commit. He threw for 1,821 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior.
RB — Isaiah Jacobs, Owasso | Sr. | 5-10 | 195
An honorable mention All-World selection, Jacobs is ranked No. 11 in the state by 247 Sports and has not yet committed.
RB — Daniel Hishaw Jr., Moore | Sr. | 5-10 | 207
Kansas has a commitment from Hishaw, who earned Big City honors from the Oklahoman last year as a defensive back.
WR — Anthony Bland, Stillwater | Sr. | 6-2 | 190
Bland landed on the All-World second team after catching 40 passes for 677 yards and seven touchdowns. Bland will play at Princeton next season.
WR — Jack Wright, Regent Prep (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-0 | 170
A first team All-World pick as a junior, half of Wright's 26 catches went for touchdowns last year.
TE — Mario Kirby, Owasso | Sr. | 6-0 | 235
An honorable mention All-World pick, Kirby caught 34 passes for 531 yards and five touchdowns last year.
OL — Jake Henry, Union (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-4 | 275
A two-way player for Union, Henry was a starter at right tackle last year and also saw time on the defensive side of the ball at defensive end.
OL — Trevor Burckhartzmeyer, Broken Arrow | Sr. | 6-2 | 290
Broken Arrow should have a powerful offensive line this year with Burckhartzmeyer, moving from guard to center this year, joining Andrew Raym to give the team a solid front.
OL — Maximus Johnson, Jenks | Sr. | 6-2 | 285
The top returning lineman for a team that has won 16 state championships in Oklahoma.
OL — Whit Azlin Jr., Edison (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-0 | 255
Azlin paved the way for Sevion Morrison to lead the state in rushing last year. He averaged five pancakes a game, according to Vype.
OL — Kobe Williams, Bixby | Sr. | 6-4 | 265
Joined the varsity as a sophomore and started in the state championship game. Also started every game last year for Bixby and is expected to be a team leader as a senior.
AP — Gentry Williams, Washington (Tulsa) | So. | 5-10 | 160
Already committed to play at Oklahoma as a sophomore, Williams threw for 776 yards last year as a freshman on the varsity. He's ranked as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2022 in Oklahoma by 247 Sports.
K — Logan Ward, Deer Creek (Edmond) | Jr. | 6-1 | 190
The top returning field goal kicker in the state, Ward booted six field goals as a sophomore on the varsity last year.

Cozart landed on the All-World first team as a junior, racking up 128 tackles and seven sacks as a defensive tackle and outside linebacker.

Besides being one of the top small school players in the state, Niver has won arm wrestling championships in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. His grandfather is former arm wrestling world champion Jimmy Coyle.
DL — Solomon Wright, Vian | Jr. | 6-0 | 270
The son of former New York Jets linebacker Kenyatta Wright, Solomon has followed in his footsteps and committed to play at his father's alma mater, Oklahoma State.
DL — Mason Givens, Union (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-4 | 300
One of seven starters returning for Union's semifinal team from last year, Givens could find time on both sides of the line this year.
LB — Cole Thompson, Norman | Sr. | 6-2 | 210
Ranked as the No. 14 overall player in Oklahoma by 247 Sports, Thompson has committed to play at Oklahoma State.
LB — Jeff Roberson, Choctaw | Sr. | 6-2 | 215
Headed to Oklahoma State next year, Roberson plays running back and linebacker and is ranked as the No. 17 player in the state by 247 Sports.
Carl Albert is expected to be one of the top Class 5A teams in the state after going 14-0 last year and Collier should be a big reason why as he is ranked as the No. 26 player in the state by 247 Sports.
DB — Brennan Presley, Bixby | Sr. | 5-7 | 160
While Presley had 67 catches for 1,081 yards on offense, he was also deadly on defense with six interceptions for the state champs. He has committed to play at Oklahoma State.
DB — Zach Middleton, Bishop Kelley (Tulsa) | Sr. | 5-9 | 182
A running back on offense, Middleton is expected to play safety at the next level and has already committed to play at Oklahoma State.
DB — Rico Windham, Carl Albert (Midwest City) | Sr. | 6-0 | 170
A member of last year's undefeated Carl Albert squad, Windham has already committed to play at Tulsa next year.
DB — AJ Green, Union (Tulsa) | Jr. | 5-11 | 185
Ranked as the No. 4 player in Oklahoma in the Class of 2021, Green is also a top sprinter and has hit 4.39 in the 40-yard dash.
AP — Braden Hendrix, Berryhill (Tulsa) | Sr. | 5-11 | 160
Hendrix excelled as a receiver, a punter, a defensive back and a kick returner last year. He had 976 yards receiving and 10 touchdown receptions while also returning four punts for scores.
P — Chase Ricke, Lincoln Christian (Tulsa) | Sr. | 6-1 | 170
Although he threw for 3,116 yards and 34 touchdowns, Ricke also averaged 39.2 yards per punt and earned All-World second team honors.
