Wilson hadn't done well against Colbert Heights recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 7-3. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Wildcats two weeks ago, they had to take a 7-6 loss.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 23-17. As for Colbert Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-9.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Lawrence County on the 19th. As for Colbert Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Hatton on the 19th.
