Valley Christian proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Delta Charter Dragons 9-8. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Tyler Snow was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Morse, who scored a run.
Valley Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games.
