There's no place like home for Buford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lewisville Lions on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

Buford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Lewisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Buford and Lewisville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Yellow Jackets see the pitch they'll take on Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Lewisville, their break will end when they face Camden Military at 6:15 p.m. on the 29th.
