Kansas School for the Deaf are packing up and hiking across state lines for their contest on Saturday. They take on Missouri School for the Deaf at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
Kansas School for the Deaf took the matchup and then some with a 58-14 win last Saturday over Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. The success made it back-to-back wins for Kansas School for the Deaf.
In almost any game, 45 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. Missouri School for the Deaf ended up on the wrong side of a painful 45-72 walloping at Oklahoma School for the Deaf's hands.
Kansas School for the Deaf's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Missouri School for the Deaf's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
