The Crossroads Christian Colts can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Lee Christian 86-64. Given Crossroads Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while Lee Christian is ranked 439th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Crossroads Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Gladieux out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Ely Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Crossroads Christian pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for Lee Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Crossroads Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Garden Friends at 7:30 p.m. Lee Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Kerr-Vance Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
