Chatham Central had won two straight games and Karaleigh Dodson did her part to make it three on Monday. The Chatham Central Bears strolled past the Cummings Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 46-29 thanks to Dodson, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (five).

Mattie Underwood was another key player, putting up five points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Chatham Central's record now sits at 15-8. As for Cummings, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Coming up, Chatham Central and Southeast Alamance will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. One thing working in Southeast Alamance's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. Cummings does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
