The Kiel Raiders were the 50-26 winner over the Brillion Lions when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Kiel received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 41-24 to Brillion. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kiel has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brillion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amaya Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emma Schuh, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Kiel are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15. As for Brillion, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
Kiel will head out on the road to challenge Howards Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Wisconsin (Kiel is ranked 302nd, while Howards Grove is ranked 294th). As for Brillion, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Wrightstown at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Hopefully Brillion focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
