Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Mount Si

Wildcats

Previous 3 Games

03/18/26 vs Moses Lake	11-1
03/18/26 vs Non Varsity Opponent	11-1
03/16/26 vs Lincoln	8-4

11 must be Mount Si's lucky number: they beat Non Varsity Opponent with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Wildcats beat Non Varsity Opponent by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory was just business as usual for the Wildcats, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Vera McCann (2028) was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. McCann (2028) is crushing it when it comes to doubles: she's hit at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Paige Yost (2028) was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Mount Si was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .379 or higher in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Mount Si's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Mount Si has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 victory against Kentwood on the 23rd. Non Varsity Opponent has also already played their next contest (against Marion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
